Description Christoph Thielecke 2010-10-11 13:31:56 UTC
Version: 0.3 (using Devel)
OS: Linux

It would be nice if kopete can display a dialog for importing a public key (with sign possibility) if a public key was send as message (as sim does). It should also offer to use this key after import and sign if no key is currently for the user set.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
send a public key in a message to kopete:
-----BEGIN PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-----
[...]
-----END PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-----

Actual Results:
The key is displayed in raw format

Expected Results:
Key should detected, log message with keyid, offer key import+sign (and if no key for this user: use this key for this user)

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.36-rc6
Compiler: gcc

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
