Version:           0.9 (using KDE 4.4.6) 
OS:                Linux

now it is impossible to add/change reminders to a read-only calendar.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
add a read-only calendar.
try to add a reminder to an event.

Actual Results:  
you can't, edit event is disabled (read-only)

Expected Results:  
that it would be possible.

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.34.7-56.fc13.i686.PAE

it is possible to set a reminder to a read-only calendar when it is an akonadi resource.
I am not sure if that means that it should not be possible to set reminders to the read-only old fashioned calendars added inside korganizer.

Yes it should be possible to set local reminders for read-only / remote calendars.

As noted, it is possible to set a reminder to a read-only calendar when it is an Akonadi resource.
