Description Quantum Five 2010-10-10 21:50:48 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux

Hello everyone,

Using Kubuntu Maverick (10.10) with stock KDE 4.5.1 and current nvidia driver (260.19.06). Works OK with one monitor but the moment I enable xinerama in an attempt to set up dual head config, I can no longer get to the desktop - it crashes with segmentation fault just after the "K" letter is shown. For a split second both monitors come to life (so it loads quite a bit before giving up).

Without xinerama, I can even enable 2 monitors with nvidia-setting - although not much use for such a config since one monitor is blank (but I can move the mouse on it so I know it's working). However, the moment I turn xinerama on ... kabooom !

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Enable Xinemara. Turn on your computer.

I will attach xorg.conf and Xorg.0.log shortly.
