Description Kevin Brubeck Unhammer 2010-10-08 13:31:58 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux

Apertium is a Free and Open Source Machine translation engine, currently supporting some language pairs that are not supported by Google Translate.

The Apertium web service is API compatible with Google Translate, so it should be a simple matter to add it. However, like with Babelfish, not all combinations of language pairs are supported -- but there is a method to get supported language pairs out of the API server.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
