Description David 2010-10-04 04:43:16 UTC
Version: 1.0.0 (using KDE 4.4.4)
OS: Linux

I have a chat window open, but not focused, I receive a message on that chat window. My taskbar flashes for one second then stops.

This is annoying as the flash is to alert the person when someone typed. It should flash indefinitely until I click the message.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1: start a chat with someone.
2: make chat window not focused
3: have other person type a message

Actual Results:
Taskbar flashes a sec the stops

Expected Results:
Keep the taskbar flashing untill I click the message

Plasma 5.7 ships a fully-rewritten Task Manager backend which should resolve these issues. Please re-test with the Plasma 5.7 final release and feel free to reopen if problems do persist after all.
