Description Christoph Wickert 2010-10-02 10:43:36 UTC
Version: 1.13.5 (using KDE 4.4.5)
OS: Linux

Another impact of renaming a folder while I was syncing (see bug 252974): A filter that moves mail to the renamed folder is broken afterwards.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have a large disconnected IMAP Inbox with subfolders, so syncing takes a while.
2. Rename a folder during sync.

Actual Results:
3. Filter no longer gets applied, mails end up in Inbox instead of getting moved.
4. Target folder in the filter configuration dialog reads:
Unknown folder '.833855782.directory/.INBOX.directory/.Roundcube.directory/RoundCube Users'

Expected Results:
3. Filter should be applied as usual
4. Target folder in settings dialog should contain the new name of the folder.

we fixed a problem about creating a new folder and make a move (filtering) to the new folder *before* closing and re-starting kmail. Make please a new test now.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
