Description Stefano Bartaletti 2010-09-30 09:51:15 UTC
Version: 1.13.5 (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux

Normally kmail/kontact shows a short sender address in the message list
(e.g. "John Doe")

If there are many JD's mailing, you cannot distinguish them unless you check tooltips or open every email

Discussed here:

http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=90578&p=171933#p171933

It would be better to use a different style, like other email clients do

(e.g. "John Doe" <john.doe@example.com>)

Reproducible: Always

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2
