screenshot: wrong artist in recent added list

Version: 2.3.1
OS: Linux

Yesterday I added a Amy McDonald album to amarok. The album was shown in the recently added albums just fine. Today I added a Wolfsheim song. When I dragged it to the playlist to the top of the list, it appeared with the artist "Amy McDonald". I closed Amarok and re-opened it. The Wolfsheim song "Blind 2004" now is displayed with the correct artist in the playlist and in the recently added albums list, but the Amy McDonald album "This is the Life" is now shown with artist "Wolfsheim". As you can see in the attached screenshot this only affects the recently added albums list, in the playlist the album is shown with the correct artist. Closing and re-opening Amarok does not change anything.

Reproducible: Didn't try

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.35-5.slh.4-aptosid-686
Compiler: cc

Could you please upgrade to Amarok 2.3.2 and test again? I presume you checked the tags already.

I have just upgraded to 2.3.2 and the information in the Recently added Albums widget now reads "Blind 0 tracks, 0:00" and "This Is The Life 0 tracks, 0:00" instead of 2.3.1's "WOLFSHEIM Blind 1 track, 4:00" & "WOLFSHEIM This Is The Life 12 tracks, 36:00". Correct would be "Wolfsheim Blind 1 track, 4:00" and "Amy MacDonald This Is The life, 36:00".

This seem to be some remains in database from the error in 2.3.1? As in 2.3.1 I cannot drag these entries to the playlist (as they don't have a real counterpart). But I can add the tracks to the playlist via collection pane and the tracks display correct in playlist.

Oops, I *cannot* drag the Amy MacDonald album from the collection pane to the playlist in 2.3.2! It is shown without tracks in the collection pane. I still have it in the playlist from 2.3.1. - same for the Wolfsheim album Blind.

I have now bypassed this specific issue by changing the folder names of the mentioned albums outside of Amarok. After closing and restarting Amarok it got it sorted right (Recently Added & collection pane) and I can now use the albums.

I have added another album and Amarok 2.3.2 behaved as it should, I cannot reproduce the issue by now (oh BTW: the tags were not affected, they were and are ok). Wonder where that hiccup came from...

I think there was a corrupt entry in the database, which was corrected by the folder name change. Closing for now as "worksforme", feel free to reopen this report if it should happen again.
