and ctrl-w should close the window, ctrl-q should exit kfind (which is probably the same)

Behaviour is unchanged. Still: <ESC> closes the window <CTRL>-q and <CTRL>-w do not trigger any action.

still the same behaviour
I can confirm this bug in the latest KFind (v24.04.70). From a usability perspective I think this is not critical but definitely not ideal either. Maybe I am wrong though and this has been the intended behaviour?
