Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.5) OS: Linux When I click on the Help button in KPackageKit 0.6.1 it doesn't show any Help. The KDE Help Center, version 4.4.5, starts up, and it gives an error-message: "The file or folder help:/ does not exist." Then the main window of the Help Center says "There is no documentation available for /index.html." Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Start up KPackageKit. Click on the Help button. Thats all. It makes no difference which of the three icons in the Icon List is selected at the time. With this version of KPackageKIt, the Help files seem to be missing for all three icons. Actual Results: The KDE Help Center starts up, but cannot display any Help, instead it shows an error-message. Expected Results: The KDE Help Center should start up then display Help for KPackageKit. There were missing Help files in previous versions as well. With one previous version of KPackageKit, a Help file was available for one of the three icons in the Icon List. The other Help files were missing. I have had missing Help files for KPackageKit in Fedora 13 and Kubuntu 10.04.
No you never had help files for KPackageKit since I had never wrote them :P And if Fedora had written them for me they would send upstream, and in Kubuntu I'm sure it does not exist. I'll try to write them but I have some more important bugs to fix first.
Userbase has a basic documentation for kpackagekit. The KDE Documentation Team is using a script to convert wiki to docbook. What about converting the wiki page to docbook and add it to the svn archiv? Please mail kde-doc-english@kde.org if you agree with such a temporarily solution.
