Description Hans-J. Ullrich 2010-09-25 15:18:57 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.5)
OS: Linux

Dear maintainers,

please allow me, to describe my little problem. I am using a sd-card, which I some time ago labeled under a certain name. In my case, it is named "Debian Inst", but that does not really care. Whenever I put the sd-card in the slot, KDE recognizes it as "Debian Inst".

Now I deleted the label, using "mlabel". Mlabel showed me that the label is empty, and another computer verified me the same.

But: My notebook (where I put the card the very first time) is still showing me the label "Debian Inst", although the label is deleted.

I looked and found the entry in ~/.kde/share/config/kded_device_automounterrc. Of course, I can delete this entry manually, but IMO the entry for the label should be cleared automatically. If I missed some configuration settings in KDE, please point me to it. If there is none, this behaviour is a bug.

It would be nice, if you might take a look on it.

Thank you very much!

Best regards

Hans-J. Ullrich
