Description Miquel Canes 2010-09-23 14:28:00 UTC
Version:           4.1.60 (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS:                Linux

When I create a new member, the highlight syntax color of it is a light brown.

If I define 4 o 5 members, the color of some of them change to dark purple, depending where is the text cursor. It doesn't happens when the member is used.

Closing the file and open it again change the members that have the wrong color.

Also I'm having some diferents troubles on highlighting adding more code lines inside the class. But I think that is a different problem.

Code used to reproduce it.

<?php

class BadColors{

	function __construct($a, $b, $c)
	{
		$this->a = $a;
		$this->b = $b;
		$this->c = $c;
		$this->d = $a + $b;
		$this->e = "c";
		$this->f = "a";
	}

	public function foo()
	{
		$z = $this->a;
		$zz = $this->b;
		$zzz = $this->c;
		$zzzz = $this->d;
		$zzzzz = $this->e;
		$zzzzzz = $this->f;
	}

}

?>

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
Some members have a diferent color.

Expected Results:
All members highlighted with the same color.

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.35-ARCH
Compiler: gcc
kate from git.

if I copy'n'paste your code into a test file I cannot reproduce the issue. Have to retest with kdev master, maybe its a regression there.
Comment 2 Miquel Canes 2010-11-10 09:11:05 UTC
Using 1.1 branch, all members look good.
Only in master branch, some members have a diferent color.

I'm still can reproduce this bug using master.

First member has a different color.
Changing cursor position makes change the members that have a wrong color. (see snapshot 2)
