- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Changing setting of the  external monitor using the following command

xrandr --output LVDS --mode 1280x800 --pos 0x0 --output VGA --mode 1440x900 --pos 1280x0 

- Custom settings of the application:

The crash can be reproduced every time.
