Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.2) OS: Linux When kde-applications like kmail or kokular try to find files (input or output), the file selection window appears with proper contetn, but then nothing happens. And after several seconds a message window appears with "The window does not respond." Sometimes also the file selection window restarts to wrok after about 30 seconds. During the non-responding window the application (kmail, kokular) shows "100% CPU" in top. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: Read message with attached pdf click on pdf file opens kokular select "save as" in kokular sometimes file selection window behaves OK, sometimes it does not respond The same behavior is found, if I directly try "save as" for the attachment in kmail. The same behavior is found for various attached files and file types. The bug appears since my upgrade to SuSE 11.3.
Can't reproduce using KDE SC 4.10.1 . Is it still a problem in recent versions ?
