Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.1) OS: Linux System Setting screen goes to full screen and cannot be closed without shutting down / switching off at the wall. I can click on a link and open a browser, as a result but the system settings screen is still maximised in the background. There appear to be no controls for closing system settings. Even if I make a change, they do not appear. Tried this again have switched off at the wall and logged back in. Same think happens. Tried Alt-Ctrl-Del to no avail. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Reboot. Open System Settings and maximise. There are no controls to exit. Try Alt-Ctrl-Del to cycle to the desktop. Actual Results: Have re-tried after switching the machine off - once the system settings are maximised you cannot do anything. Expected Results: The system settings screen stayed maximised There should be a control to exit system settings or a window control to minimise / maximise or close the window. Can't add an attachment at the moment. Will attenpt a screen print
There should be a "Quit" tool button in the System Settings toolbar. If not, please delete the following files: .kde/share/apps/systemsettings/* .kde/share/config/systemsettingsrc Additionally, please check if you don't accidentally use the Netbook Workspace mode, which forces windows to be full screen.
