Currently, if 1 dolphin instance hangs, all instances hang; thus they are dependent on each other; I'm proposing a change for this here, this will also add partial multi threading capabilities to the file browser.

Hello.

I think it is the most important change and dolphin must have it. I often open several windows with several tabs in each. Unfortunately, dolphin has bugs and sometimes it crashes. It is very unpleasant when you have to open all windows again because one of them has crashed!

I hope this feature will be added one day.

This has been fixed in Dolphin for KDE SC 4.7: Each instance runs in a custom process.
