Description Vardan Gevorgyan 2010-09-21 22:02:11 UTC
Version: 1.13.5 (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux

I have two accounts setuped in kmail: a@a.com and b@b.com.
The default account is a@a.com.
When I sent mail by b@b.com in sent-mail and outbox folders kmail shows that my mail sent from a@a.com, but in real it was send by b@b.com.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Just create two accounts (SMTP) and try to send email by not default account.

Actual Results:
In sent-mail and outbox folders mail have wrong From header (it set the default SMTP account email address).

Expected Results:
Should be the email address by which the mail was sent.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.35-22-generic
Compiler: cc

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
