Description M G Berberich 2010-09-19 11:57:17 UTC
Version: 2.4.5 (using KDE 4.4.5)
OS: Linux

If ^S is pressed inside konsole it displays an annoying banner, stating that output has been haltet.

· this is not true in general, only if the tty has set „stop = ^S“

· this changes the geometry of konsole if konsole isn't wide enough for the banner. This regularly happens to me on a german KDE with konsole set to 80 characters wide.

· this is annoying if using emacs or any program that uses ^S

This annoying and useless behaviour should be removed or at least there should be a way to configure konsole, so it does not do this.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
start konsole, type ^S

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.34-1-amd64
Compiler: cc

I have just been told that there is an option to switch this off. Shame on me.
