Taken from Sabine's comment: * A long touch displays 4 buttons: Reply to Author, Reply to All, Reply to List and Discard To test the 4 buttons I have sent an email to the N900 with 3 recipients: my Imap account on the N900, my KDAB email address, a list address. Here are the results: - 'Reply to Author' button works fine (composer launched and 1st recipient displayed correctly in Recipients tab) - 'Reply to All' button does not work completely (composer launched but incorrect recipient: list email address only) -'Reply to List' button does not work correctly (composer launched but no recipient at all) - 'Discard' button works fine (it undisplays the 4 buttons) Since there are pbs with the recipients in the replies I am reopening this bug. Sabine could you retest this issue? I didn't tried to reply to a maillinglist but reply all to two persons worked for me.
I retested this today and indeed I was testing the reply to list wrong. It works fine. However I can still reproduce the 'Reply to all' bug: - Launch Kmail-mobile - Click on 'Write new email' button - Enter multiple recipients: your imap email, your work email and your personal email. - Enter a subject and type a few words - Click on 'Send' - Sync your imap inbox - Open the email - hold reply - Click on 'Reply to all' button The composer launches but the recipient tab shows only one recipient: last email address entered instead of all the recipients that were initially entered. Ah, kmail is too clever here, it automatically excludes your own addresses from reply to all (which usually is exactly what you want) :) Make sure to test with addresses not configured in any of your identities.
Works for me in version 4:4.5~20101001.1181693-1maemo4.1181469 .
I retested this today and indeed Reply to all works fine. As Volker mentioned in comment #3 my email addresses set as identities are excluded from the 'reply to all' list but it does make sense ;o) When testing with emails that are not set as identities 'Reply to all' works fine.
