kwrite bt when using pack window

Version:           unspecified (using KDE 4.5.1) 
OS:                Linux

Using the pack window left/right/up/down hotkeys pretty much destroys everything. Konsole ends up with an invisible window exactly the size of the title bar (which then is in the correct place, btw...). kwrite, firefox, and probably most other apps simply crash. I just upgraded to KDE 4.5.1 and xorg-server 1.9.0 in a single run (from 4.4.5 and 1.8.2 respectively). So if anyone thinks it might be Xorg 1.9 related, I might try going back to 1.8.2.
