Version: 4.5.1 (using KDE 4.5.1) OS: Linux When viewing a directory with a lot of files in "Detailed List View" if I delete a file that is some way down the list, the view then jumps up to the top of the listing. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1) Go to a directory that needs more than a page to display in details view 2) scroll down a bit 3) Delete (or move to wastebin) a file Actual Results: File is deleted OK, but the view jumps back to the top of the list Expected Results: The view should remain on the files listed close to the deleted file. I didn't have this problem in 4.4.5. It does not seem to depend on sorting order.
Thanks for the bug report! What is your Qt version? This looks very much like bug 246997 which is a regression in Qt's 4.7 branch.
@Frank Reininghaus@ It's the 4.7 rc1 from the PPA ii libqtcore4 4:4.7.0~rc1-1ubuntu1~lucid1~ppa1 Qt 4 core module
