Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.2) OS: Linux I use Choqok with GNOME. Since a few days version Beta3, caused by changed Twitter authentification. But the "problem" here is older, and I never reported because it isn't a serious one. Sometimes I have the good looking opacity OSDs on the upper right side of my desktop. But casually there are poor grey ones in the upper middle of my desktop. I talked about these curiosity in ubuntu IRC-channel, and get some clues and the advice to mention a bug-report. Someone told me, that it will be a race-condition problem, because there was used knotify instead of notify-osd which is normally used on a GNOME-desktop. The information of this I got from ~/.xsessions-errors which tracked directly after the bad looking grey OSDs appeared this lines: knotify(2713) KNotify::event: 589 ref= 0 knotify(2713) KNotify::slotPluginFinished: 586 ref= 1 knotify(2713) KNotify::closeNotification: 586 ref= 0 knotify(2713) KNotify::slotPluginFinished: 587 ref= 1 knotify(2713) KNotify::closeNotification: 587 ref= 0 knotify(2713) KNotify::event: 590 ref= 0 Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: I can't control it. Sometimes it is, sometimes not. It's possible that after startup choqok I got the bad ones and after a while there appear the others.
This isn't a Choqok bug, You should contact KDE Libs or Gnome guys about it. We're just using those tools :)
