Version:           unspecified (using KDE 4.4.2) 
OS:                Linux

1. In the version of KDE Kontact that was packaged with Linux, Ubuntu, 9.10, double clicking on the URL in a contact in the Address Book opened the corresponding web page.

2. On the Other hand, in the version of KDE Kontact (version KDE 4.4.2), double clicking on the URL in a contact in the Address Book did NOTHING whatsoever.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start KDE Kontact (version 4.4.2 packaged with Linux, Ubunto, version 10.04).

2. Click on the icon "Contact" shown on the left side of the screen.

3. Select an entry in the Address Book which has a URL for a working web site (Example: The URL for "Google").

4. Double click on the URL.

5. Observe what happens.

   

Actual Results:  
1. Nothing happens.

2. No web page is opened.

Expected Results:  
1. The web page corresponding to the selected URL must be opened.  

1. The information given in the preceding sections should be sufficient.

1, Please note that the problem has occurred in the KDE Kontact package installed with the Synaptic Package Manager provided with Linux, Ubuntu, Version 10.04

this has been fixed in KDE-PIM 4.5.
