Description Kai Uwe Broulik 2010-09-11 15:48:23 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux

(Seems to be more related to kio-smb slave than dolphin itself)

Dolphin constantly requires authentication information by dialog even if you chose cancel. The only way of getting rid of those messages is browsing to another (e.g. parent) folder that does not need authentication.
It should just ask once, if I press cancel it should stop and only show that dialog again if I refresh view or something but not open them “in a loop”. At least they are not modal so I can browse to another folder and stop it from spitting dialogs.
(It does not open 20 at once, but everytime you close a dialog, it re-appears)

Reproducible: Always
