Version: unspecified (using Devel) OS: Linux The emails sent from the N900 are not received by the user and they are stored in the Outbox. When the user opens them there is an error message in them: '...transport message. The process for the smtp://mail.kdab.com protocol died unexpectedly' whereas sending emails worked fine yesterday. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: - Launch Kmail-mobile - Click on 'Send New Email' - Enter a subject, a few words and a recipient - Click on 'Send' - A yellow pop up message appear saying that the message was sent successfully Actual Results: The message is never received by the recipient. The message sent is stored in the Outbox instead of the Sent-mail folder Expected Results: The message should be sent properly and received by the recipient. The message should be stored in the Sent-mail folder. N900, 4:4.5~20100909.1173240-1maemo1.1173275
Created attachment 51490 [details] Email stuck in the outbox snapshot Error message displayed in the email stucked in the sender outbox. It does not make sense for the yellow pop up message to say that the message has been successfully sent when clearly it is not the case. N900, 4:4.5~20100909.1173240-1maemo1.1173275
This happened while my Imap sync was working (at least according to Akonadi console!). N900, 4:4.5~20100909.1173240-1maemo1.1173275
The notification before sending part has been fixed quite a while ago.
Indeed I have not seen that bug in quite a while so I am closing it for now. I will reopen if needed. N900, 4:4.6~20101105.1193208-1maemo1.1193066
