Version: unspecified (using Devel) OS: Linux The input field to enter the signature text that will be displayed at the end of every email using that identity is way too small for the user to see what he types in it. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: - Launch Kmail-mobile - Open the 'Actions' tab - Click on 'Identities' - Select an already existing identity - Click on 'Modify' button - Click on the 'Signature' tab - Check the 'Enable signature' check box - Select 'Input Field Below' from the 'Obtain siganture text from:' combo box - Try typing text into the tiny field underneath (see snapshot enclosed) - Click on 'ok' twice - Click on 'Write new Email' - Select the identity you've modified from the 'Identity:' combo box Actual Results: The user cannot see what he is typing in the input field ('Edit identity' dialogue) Expected Results: The field should be bigger so that the user can type in it and see if he makes a typing mistake. Note: the signature is correctly added in the Composer after selecting the correct identity if not immediately after a quiting and restarting Kmail-mobile. I could not retest this part properly due to the fact that I cannot see what is displayed in the line edit. I will retest that part once this bug is corrected. "Fixed" by the fallback code added to KDialog yesterday.
In 4:4.5~20101013.1185418-1maemo1.1185177 , the input dialog looks good, but I do not see the signature in the composer view.
Layout issues are gone, thus closin. Other issues partly persists, like https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=248559 .
Indeed this is corrected now. The Input Field from the Signature tab ('Edit Identity' dialogue) is a lot bigger now: even with the html options on, there is still room for at least 3 lines to be visible without moving the cursor down. N900, 4:4.6~20101222.1208531-1maemo1.1208558
