Description Christian Reiner 2010-09-08 16:37:18 UTC
Version: 1.6.5 (using KDE 4.5.0)
OS: Linux

New items are placed at a wrong position in the list of items for the opened feed (not others). I have feed items sorted by date, newest on top. As a consequence I would expect newly arriving items to be placed at the top of the list. Instead they appear at the bottom (?!?) though they clearly show the correct date (today...).
The moment the feed is marked as read ("mark all items as read") the list is apparently resorted and all is fine again.
This effect also is not visible for feeds not currently opened, since the list is sorted the moment the feed is chosen.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Leave some feed open in akronadi and wait for new items to arrive.

Actual Results:
New items are placed at the bottom of the item list and thus break the current sorting.

Expected Results:
New items should be integrated into the list at the correct position according to the chosen sorting preference.

I do not see this behaviour any more using KDE-4.7.4.
