which plasmoid are you using for the now playing feature?

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=248932 may also be related
Comment 3 Tom Kijas 2010-09-20 08:48:12 UTC
Hi, I think I didn't use any "play now" plasmoid, the plasmoid that crashed -if I remember correctly - was "analog clock".
Comment 4 Tom Kijas 2011-02-07 00:03:31 UTC
Well it is fixed now in KDE4.6, thanks.
Comment 5 Dario Andres 2011-03-08 19:47:09 UTC
[Comment from a bug triager]
Bug 267271 mentions this backtrace related with another amarok behaviour: bug 263642.
Regards

I think it is resolved by upgrading to KDE4.6.1, isn't it?

New crash information added by DrKonqi

plasma-netbook (0.1) on KDE Platform 4.5.5 (KDE 4.5.5) using Qt 4.7.0

- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I was listening music, using Amarok

- Unusual behavior I noticed:
Losts of "file downloaded" notifications started appearing.
I could not enter top menu of plazma-notebook with mouse

then Crash message appeared.

Without amarok running and playing songs, such error does not seem to happen. So it could be related.

Comment 9 Martin Klapetek 2011-12-02 17:05:52 UTC
Can you please test against latest stable KDE SC release (currently with 4.7.3)? If the crash still occurs, please reopen this bug. I cannot reproduce it here with 4.8/master.

Thanks :)

Closing for lack of feedback. Please feel free to reopen this report if you can still reproduce this with KDE 4.8.3 or later.
