Screenshot of kmail showing seemingly empty message list

Version: 1.13.5 (using Devel)
OS: Linux

When Kontact is minimized to the system tray and then maximized again it can happen that the message list of the current open folder appears to be empty (see attached screenshot).
The messages can be selected and are displayed in the window below, the message list stays "empty". The message list window has no way of sorting the messages (date, subject, sender...) but only displays "message list".
The messages become visible again when another folder is selected.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
Minimize Kontact to system tray then maximize. Happens after Kontact is minimized for a while.

Actual Results:
Shows an "empty" message list.

Expected Results:
Show the message list of the currently selected email-folder.

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.32-25-generic
Compiler: cc
KDE 4.5.1
Kubuntu 10.04.1

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
