Linux Mint KDE 9 (Ubuntu) updated K3b from 1.91 to 2.0.1 so I tried this again. Same failure result Failure message - mkisofs returned an unknown error (code 255) Failed at 21% - the disk is about half used same as before Some period of time after error message - message successfully completed(?) Crash report submitted Three questions: 1) Crash report suggests a file changed during operation causing mkisofs to quit. This partition copy takes about an hour to a DL disc. Do I have to ensure that during that hour no files are changed? Can I use K3b on an unmounted partition? 2) Is DL burning still supported? I don't know what is going to happen with blu-ray when the creation time is much longer. Add info - Sony DVD RW DRU-810A Hope this helps.
