Description Luiz Angelo De Luca 2010-08-31 18:43:43 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.0)
OS: Linux

Hello,

I use marble as my wallpaper. After I hibernate and restore my system, the shown sun position is still from the time before hibernation. After that, the applet still modifies the sun position but relative to the startup time and not the current time. This also happens if the current clock is modified after marble wallpaper is running.

I guess marble should calculate sun position continuously checking the current UTC clock time and not based on startup time.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
configure wallpaper to use marble satellite view

hibernate and wait for some hours
or
forward system clock by some hours

Actual Results:
The sun position does not change

Expected Results:
The sun position should reflect the current time

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.34-12-desktop
Compiler: gcc
