Version: 0.11 (using KDE 4.5.0) OS: Linux I opened a pdf file which I know has a "built in request" to open in presentation mode. In previous iterations of Okular I then got a prompt if I would allow this, but in recent version (to my memory this started with KDE 4.4, but I cannot pinpoint the exact time) it just crashes. I use the KDEMOD packages in Chakra (Arch Linux more or less). This happens on two machines that I have running the same system, one 32bit and one 64bit. Don't hesitate to ask if I can give you further information! You can find the pdf in question here: http://www.math.utah.edu/~smith/AmberSmith_GSAC_Beamer.pdf Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Open the pdf in the link given above Actual Results: Crash Expected Results: No crash, prompt to let the file go into presentation mode
Please attach a backtrace of the crash.

Has nothing to do with presentation mode, the problem is that there was a bug in poppler, the PDF library that Okular uses to render PDF files. I have fixed the code there and will be fixed in the next poppler release (0.14.3)
Say what? You already fixed it? Wow, impressed! :) OK, I guess I just were guessing since it is the only pdf I knew of with this "presentation request", and the only pdf I knew of that generated the crash. Correlation doesn't prove cause I guess :)
