Description Orestes Bueno 2010-08-30 06:02:13 UTC
Application: okular (0.10.2)
KDE Platform Version: 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2)
Qt Version: 4.6.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.32-24-generic x86_64
Distribution: Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS

-- Information about the crash:
I compiled a .tex file with okular closed. When i opened okular to see the .dvi file, it only showed one page or two... the remaining pages appear as blank (most of them) or in a very "low resolution"

The crash can be reproduced some of the time.

 -- Backtrace:
Application: Okular (okular), signal: Segmentation fault

There have been various fixed in closing a document in recent okular releases, i would appreciate if you could update to KDE 4.5.0 or (4.5.1 being released this week) and try again to see if you can still reproduce the crash.

Thanks for using Okular
Comment 2 Orestes Bueno 2010-08-31 01:11:13 UTC
This report is not much about okular crashing after closing, is more about okular isn't loading a .dvi properly...

Anyways, i will try to update to a more recent version of KDE and try it again

Thanks for your response
