Gwenview crashes everytime I try to browse a directory full of image files of the format .tif. All of these files were scaned with Xsane to a 600dpi greyscale .tif file and then either edited and then saved using photoshop CS4 in Windows 7 or editing and exported with The Gimp v. 2.7.2 unstable. The image files were never converted to a different format, always keeping with the .tif format.

My platform consists of a fresh install of Ubuntu 9.10 AMD64, fully updated and then upgraded to Ubuntu 10.04. Later, KDE was installed and then updated to KDE 4.4.5.
