How do try to modify it in digiKam interface ? Check also your settings in Setup/Metadata. There is an option about file time -stamp. Gilles Caulier
my user interface language is french.... i selected a picture, clicked on image menu selected "changer l'heure et la date" selected " file last modified" in the section "Adjust", i selected "Ajouter" and put 0 for day and 06:00:00 for the other value in the section "update time and date", i selected " file last modified" after i clicker on "Ok" after i get a windows error who said: "Unable to update file modification time in P1090209.jpg
Can you provide a sample file that shows this problem? If it's too large to attach here, send it by private mail. If possible, ensure to have recent versions of exiv2, libkexiv2 and kipi-plugins (all of which are involved here)
