Version:           1.4.0 (using KDE 4.5.0) 
OS:                Linux

when i tried to change the time file (file last modified) and update time and date (file last modified) i get

Unable to update file modification time in: x123.jpg

i have read, write access on this file

Reproducible: Didn't try


Actual Results:  
Unable to update file modification time in: x123.jpg

i have read, write access on this file

Expected Results:  
time file modified correctly

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.34.4-6-desktop

How do try to modify it in digiKam interface ?

Check also your settings in Setup/Metadata. There is an option about file time -stamp.

my user interface language is french....

i selected a picture,

clicked on image menu

selected "changer l'heure et la date"

selected " file last modified"

in the section "Adjust", i selected "Ajouter" and put 0 for day and 06:00:00 for the other value

in the section "update time and date", i selected " file last modified"

after i clicker on "Ok"

after i get a windows error who said: "Unable to update file modification time in
P1090209.jpg

Can you provide a sample file that shows this problem? If it's too large to attach here, send it by private mail.
If possible, ensure to have recent versions of exiv2, libkexiv2 and kipi-plugins (all of which are involved here)

youre sure? Did not receive any...not in the spam filter as well. Normally it works, there's plenty of disk space for my mail account.

Not reproducible with 6.0.0, using stand alone Time Adjust tool restored by
Maik for next 6.0.0-beta2 release.
