Version: 2.3 (using KDE 4.5.0) OS: Linux Now if you want to build a collection of your DVD/divx movies, you can either scan your files and have the predefined files collection, with very limited capabilities end flexibility, or you can create movie collection, entering individually eche title by hand. Tellico would be much more useful if it offered an option to automatically scan a CD/DVD in search for multimedia files and add them to the collection. The procedure could be as follows: 1. Enter a disc to the drive, click "Add CD/DVD". 2. Scan the disc 3. If it is a data CD/DVD, list all the multimedia files with automatic suggestions for movie titles, guessed by filenames (removing dots, underlines, strings like "DVDRip" etc.) and metadata. 4. A user makes necessary corrections and removes unwanted items. 5. The items are added to the database. There could also be some additional fields added to the database, like the name of the scanned CD/DVD, as well as the most useful info about the files, like file size, video and audio bitrate and resoution. Of course these fields should be filled automatically. It would also be nice if the "lent" option, when checked for one title, would be automatically set for all the movies that are stored on the same disc. Reproducible: Didn't try
