Description Gerry Gavigan 2010-08-26 22:33:04 UTC
Version: 4.5.0 (using KDE 4.5.0)
OS: Linux

Occurs even if I restore the session after Konqi crashes

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
e.g., from http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport/ click on "Platini voices England 2018 fears"
(as at 26.08.10)

Actual Results:
silent crash

It appears to be a webkit problem as a switch to KHTML solves the problem
Comment 1 Dawit Alemayehu 2010-09-10 06:52:17 UTC
I am sure this is caused by the upstream flash player bug that is already fixed. However, without any backtrace provided we cannot be sure. Moreover, I cannot duplicate the problem with the version of QtWebKit (2.0) that will come with Qt 4.7.
Comment 2 Dawit Alemayehu 2010-10-19 15:52:52 UTC
As stated in comment #1, this should be an upstream issue. Feel free to reopen the ticket if the problem persists for you with Qt 4.7.0...
