Description SlashDevDsp 2010-08-26 08:49:16 UTC
Version: SVN (using Devel)
OS: Linux

with the magic lamp effect turned on minimising a window, paints the current window shadow (blue) after the window has been minimised

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. systemsettings->desktop effects->all effects-> enable magic lamp effect and disable minimise animation effect and click apply

Actual Results:
open say a firefox window now, minimise it either by clicking the minimise button or on its taskbar entry, you can see the current window border/shadow (blue shadow) of the window disappearing after the window has been minimised

Expected Results:
there should not be any paints of border/shadow after minimisation

todays kde trunk, nvidia 256.44 binary blob, twinview enabled.

is this related to an active blur effect?
Comment 2 SlashDevDsp 2010-08-27 07:02:04 UTC
yes! disabling the blur effect fixes the issue, so I guess the bug needs to be fixed in the blur effect plugin
