Description Sabine Faure 2010-08-25 18:58:38 UTC
Version: unspecified
OS: Linux

When I sync the imap resouce while the shared folders are enabled the sync is very long and slow and it freezes the N900 completely so it is impossible to use it.

The sync of the shared folders is too frequent too. It does not leave a chance to the user to do anything else in between two sync.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
- Launch Kmail-mobile
- Enable the shared folders (Imap account, actions tab - Account - Local subscription)
- Sync the Imap resource from Akonadi console

Actual Results:
The sync is working (you can see it from Akonadi console) but the N900 becomes so slow that it is unusable: clicking on buttons does launch anything, tabs do not open, emails can not be read from the message list after clicking on them...

Expected Results:
This should not be the case. The user should be able to use the N900 while kmail-mobile is synchronizing.

Should be much better with revision 1174904.

Indeed it is.

I retested this today and it is possible to read emails, open tabs and click on buttons now.
