Description Nicolas Brisset 2010-08-24 11:53:48 UTC

OS: MS Windows

Tabs are great to organize plots in different sections. But sometimes you want to reorder them so that it makes more sense. It is currently not possible (apparently a Qt limitation). There seem to be easy solutions to fix this, e.g.
http://www.qtcentre.org/wiki/index.php?title=Movable_Tabs

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Create a series of plots in various tabs (views), rename the tabs (fortunately, it works) and try to reorder them.

Actual Results:
Tabs can't be moved/reordered

Expected Results:
It should be possible to reorder tabs.

In fact, I'm wondering whether this is not supported directly in Qt as of recent versions: http://doc.trolltech.com/4.5/qtabbar.html#movable-prop
All the better!

SVN commit 1167742 by brisset:

Use Qt's built-in support for moving tabs, introduced in version 4.5.
