- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I added the social networking widget to the dashboard. Shortly thereafter, I got a login prompt (I think for opendesktop.org), coming from this widget. When entering the correct login, plasma-desktop crashed.
It re-started automatically, but then since I had checked “store in wallet” a dialog opened, for plasma-desktop to access the wallet. Unfortunately I clicked “always allow”, and plasma promptly crashed again.
And restarted again. And crashed again. This time without any further interaction, since it could read the stored password right away.
Now I can’t start plasma-desktop anymore… unless I manually edit the config files… which I don’t dare to do right now. :(

The crash can be reproduced every time.
