Version: unspecified OS: Linux The thing in the corner of the desktop ("cashew") cannot be disabled, I currently work-around it by moving it to underneath the taskbar and try to forget it's there. I don't think this would cause users any problems - the functions appear to be available from right-clicking the desktop anyway. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Nothing - it's there on every login. Actual Results: It appears, with no option to stop it appearing. Expected Results: There should be an option, e.g. on right-click, to disable the cashew - leaving the option to re-enable it in the desktop settings if desired. This can be solved using the "I-hate-the-cashew" plasmoid (I used this on Mandriva) but I don't think it shows up in the (k)Ubuntu packages. It would be good to avoid users having to install extra packages for such a simple thing.
