- What I was doing when the application crashed:
log into a new user first time. First message   i get on the screen ist kwin crashed. After that every thing looks normal. kwin is running and stable.

The crash can be reproduced some of the time.

Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about this crash as it is crashing in the driver. Feel free to report this crash to the driver developers but first install additional debug packages for the driver (as those parts are missing).

The backtrace indicates that loading the cube cap image is triggering the crash. Cube is not enabled by default, so this could also be distribution specific in case they enabled it by default and use an incorrect (non existing) image.
