(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: khtml Version: 3.0 (using KDE 2.2.0 \6alpha1) Severity: normal Installed from: Red Hat Linux 7.1 Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-81) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.2.16-22 OS/Compiler notes: I pointed konquerer at http://www.2600.com and it appears that the central table of news headlines is causing konquerer some unfeasibly large amounts of strain to draw it. I have anti-aliased fonts switched on but this doesn't seem to be the problem. (Submitted via bugs.kde.org) (Called from KBugReport dialog)

Hm.. On my work machine (xfree 4.0.2 kde 2.2alpha (redhat rpms) permedia 2) it sucks. On my home machine (xfree 4.0.2 kde 2.1 (debian via kde.tdyc.com) geforce2 MX) it's fine! so either it's a permedia 2 issue or a kde2.2alpha issue.. drop the bug for now :-) On Tuesday 01 May 2001 18:53 Dirk Mueller wrote: > On Fre 27 Apr 2001 giles@spacepigs.com wrote: > > I pointed konquerer at http://www.2600.com and it appears that the > > central table of news headlines is causing konquerer some unfeasibly > > large amounts of strain to draw it.
