Description Daniel Buus 2010-08-20 13:28:51 UTC
Version: 1.13.5 (using KDE 4.4.5)
OS: Linux

With filters set up to handle incoming IMAP mail. When composing a message and sending it, with KMail deciding to do a simultaneous check for new mail and retrieving it, messages that should be filtered are not.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Set a filter on incoming IMAP mail.
Send yourself a mail that would be filtered.
Compose a message in KMail and send it.
KMail seems to decide to also check for new mail even though it's outside of the regular interval since it's connected anyway.
The message will be retrieved and not filtered.

Actual Results:
Should-be filtered mail is not filtered

Expected Results:
The mail would be filtered

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.34-zen1-daniel
Compiler: cc

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
