Description karl.r.ernst 2010-08-19 13:23:22 UTC
Version:           unspecified (using KDE 4.4.5)
OS:                Linux

When making a non-squared picture a folder icon, it is stretched to square format

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
create a file named .directory somewhere with:
"[Desktop Entry]
Icon=<path to some non-square picture>"
Switch to parent dir

Actual Results:
Folder icon resized to square format, appears clinched or stretched

Expected Results:
Like in the image preview, the picture aspect ratio should be preserved, with white / transparent areas on the top or side if necessary
