Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.2) OS: Linux Since I have switched from true-type to bitmap fonts for general KDE fonts, plasma colours all bitmap fonts white. As I'm using Aya, this leads to white fonts on a light gray background: illegible. Those fonts that are not switched to bitmap stay being displayed black. The panel-settings' top bar displays bitmap fonts black, the applet selector below white. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Install bitmap fonts, enable them in fontconfig and select them as font for window panel and desktop in system settings. Actual Results: Text is displayed white. Expected Results: Text is displayed black.
Created attachment 50736 [details] screenshot demonstrating the issue Screenshot displays part of window panel: You can spot white text on light gray background. Also examine the clock to the far right: The time is displayed via a true-type font and black (as expected). The date below, however, takes its font from the general settings which specify a bitmap font, thus being displayed white.
