Version: unspecified (using Devel) OS: Linux After having typed the same email address several times as a recipient when entering the first letter in the recipients tab the address appears in grey. To make it appear in black the user has to hit '>' as many times as there are letters in the email address. I think it would be a lot more efficient to have to hit '>' only once per word to save the user's time. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: - Launch Kmail-mobile - Click on the 'Write a new email' button - The Composer appears - Open the 'Recipients' tab - Type an email address - Close the 'Recipients' tab - Write a few words in the Composer text editor and click on 'Send' - Repeat all the steps above until the recipient address appears in grey in the Recipients tab after typing the first letter of the email address Actual Results: Every time the user hits '>' ONE grey letter becomes black Expected Results: whereas it would be a lot faster if every time the user hits '>' one word of the email address would becomes black. Sometimes it is possible to touch the end of the entry field and the autocompletion suggestion is taken. I find the behaviour difficult as well (maybe its maemo-default, though). I'd assumed pressing Enter would accept the (grayed) suggestion.
I retested this today and indeed touching within the line edit at its end works fine to select the suggested email address. Thx for the tip, Felix ;o) Also I tested pressing enter to select the grey suggested email address and that too worked fine so I am closing this bug. Feel free to reopen if it does not work for you.
