When going to Contacts in Kontact and opening Properties on a vCard-folder type address book, if you click cancel in the open window, the address book is deleted from Kontact (though the folder remains and can be added again by doing New address book.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
- Go to Contacts in Kontact
- Right-click and choose Add Address Book
- Choose KDE Address Book (traditional)
- Click Next
- Click Next
- Click Next
- Click Finish
- Right-click the new address book and select Address Book Properties
- Click Cancel



Actual Results:  
The address book is deleted

Expected Results:  
The address book would not be deleted

Hej,

please don't use the 'Address Book (traditional)' stuff anymore, it's only available for compatibility.
Use the 'Personal Contacts' address book instead.

Well, thanks, I learned that the hard way. Though I don't see how that would make this bug "resolved" ;)

Is all development being focused on the Akonadi integration thing currently? I don't mean that question to be confrontational, I'm just wondering, and really hoping actually, as I really enjoy the flexibility and UI of Kontact and its components, and I'm hoping for it to become a reliable and valid option as a PIM.
