Hi, I am using two keyboard layout (fr and fr-bepo). When I change the layout, the enter key isn't recognized anymore. I have to change the keyboard shortcut for sending message (ctrl+enter instead of enter) and it works… until the keyboard layout change, and I have to change again the shortcut. On the two layout fr and fr-bepo the enter key is the same.
Forgot this: I am using Debian testing, with KDE 4.6.5
It seems not related to the layout change, but with the num block : - When the num lock is active, enter makes a linebreak, just like shift-enter. - When the num lock is not active, enter send the message. Maybe it is related to this bug : https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=265647 I am not using the enter key from the numpad, but the big enter/return key but I am on a laptop.
Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been stagnant for a long time. Could you help us out and re-test if the bug is valid in the latest version? I am setting the status to NEEDSINFO pending your response, please change the Status back to REPORTED when you respond. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone!
Hi, I do not use kopete and jabber anymore, so I can't test it again. Due to the age of the bug, it may be wise to close it indeed. Kind regards Adrien
Thanks for the update!
